The newest Lincoln Navigator is outfitted with a powerful twin-turbo V6 3.5-liter engine. Expect this engine to push out 450 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Designed with a body that’s made of high-strength aluminum alloy, the 2018 Lincoln Navigator weighs 200 pounds less than the model it’s replacing. All these features combine to deliver towing capacity, fuel efficiency and performance that leads in its class.
A Look Inside the Lincoln Navigator
Once you slip inside the cabin of the 2018 Lincoln Navigator, you’ll be treated to a quieter, more relaxing environment. Road noise is kept to a minimum by the laminated windows and a noise-canceling system. Even the climate control system and tires have been design to operate quietly.
French-stitched leather seats comprise all three rows. The heated and cooled front seats can be adjusted 30 ways, and feature both memory settings and a massage function. Choose either captain’s chairs or a bench seat roomy enough for three passengers for the second row. In addition, the second row boasts its own, separate climate control system. The seats can also slide and tilt to allow you to easily access a child seat installed in the third row.
A 60/40 split bench seat is found in the third row with both sides able to recline independently. All three rows of seats boast a 12-volt port and two USB ports. There’s also another 12-volt port in the cargo area and the second row has a 110-volt outlet. The panoramic sunroof means that everyone can enjoy the beautiful weather outdoors.
Technology Abounds in the 2018 Lincoln Navigator
A 20-speaker Revel Ultima stereo anchors the Lincoln Navigator’s entertainment system. Choose to listen to music via the radio, Bluetooth or USB with your phone or Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Optional 10-inch screens give second seat occupants the choice of different content streamed through USB, SD or HDMI. There’s also a dedicated Wi-Fi hotspot for online entertainment.
An extensive lighting system delivers the elegant and sophisticated ambiance that Lincoln is known for. When you approach your 2018 Lincoln Navigator, get ready for a well-lit greeting. The grille badge illuminates, the puddle lamp at the welcome mat lights up, the interior lights illuminate in sequence, the LED taillights and running lights become lit up sequentially, the power on the running boards is activated and the door handle lights deploy.
